About Judy

Judy Marquette was blessed to have a very supportive family and grow up in a rural community in central Pennsylvania. After college and a move to the Philadelphia area, Judy returned to that loving community as a devoted single parent of her 3 preschool children: Steve, Sean, and Nicole. Nearly 25 years later, she is still living in central Pennsylvania with her husband Tom. Her children are now pursuing their own dreams: Steve is in Heaven; Sean is the director of a ski camp in Oregon; Nicole is attending law school in Washington DC and recently blessed her with a beautiful grandbaby boy, Madden; and her step-daughter Cody, is an elementary teacher only about an hour away.

The Lord provided Judy with extensive involvement in education across Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education from Lock Haven University and her Master of Science in Education in exceptionalities from Bloomsburg University. During her career, she has been a preschool teacher, elementary teacher, special educator, and school administrator. She has also served as an educational consultant for local, statewide and national venues.

As part of her “New Normal” and redefining her “Line in the Middle”, since the death of her son, Steve, Judy is now using the skills provided by the Lord through her work experiences to serve Him. This book is just the first of many journeys with song that she is developing to bring the message of Love, Hope, and Faith to bring hope to hurting hearts through music.
